1. How Users Opt In

Customers opt in to receive SMS messages from Adega Gaucha through our WiFi captive portal available at our restaurant locations.

When connecting to our guest WiFi, customers are redirected to a registration page where they must enter their phone number and actively check an unchecked checkbox to provide consent.

The checkbox includes the following language: 

“I agree to receive SMS messages from Adega Gaucha, including reservation confirmations, promotional offers, event invitations, and updates. Message frequency varies (up to 4–6 messages per month). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for assistance.”

The checkbox is not pre-selected and must be manually accepted before proceeding.

We only send messages to users who have explicitly opted in and do not use purchased lists.
