The Lifeboat Project brings victims of human trafficking from the raging storm to a safe port as survivors. They do more than raise awareness on a taboo subject; they turn victims into survivors. They are a beacon of hope and a path to freedom. However, being removed from the situation is only the beginning. The Lifeboat Project provides lifelong support. They guide survivors on their journey towards sustained freedom and recovery. They help restore their dignity and show them how to love themselves and others once again. Adega Gaucha Restaurant proudly supports The Lifeboat Project and their mission to transform lives and bring hope to those in need.

The organization was created by the state legislature in 1990 as the Florida Endowment for Vocational Rehabilitation, as a direct supporter of vocational rehabilitation efforts by state agencies and community organizations. More than 10 million kids enter a children’s hospital like your local children’s hospital across North America every year. To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $7 billion, most of it $1 at a time through Miracle Balloon icon campaigns. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Since May 2008, IDignity Orlando has offered identification services where U.S. citizens and legal residents can get a Florida birth certificate, as well as a Florida ID (or license renewal). We also offer our clients help with getting a Social Security card or verification information. We accomplish this mission through governmental partnership and the support of hundreds of dedicated volunteers.
Homelessness has been challenging communities across the United States for a long time. Many people believe they know why someone becomes homeless.
